We are a non-profit scientific association established by the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, approval number 18/J/2026, dated September 9, 2021.
Our Vision
To excel in anatomical pathology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by promoting best professional practices, education, and scientific research for better patient care.
Our Mission
To enhance the quality of anatomical disease diagnosis, provide valuable resources for association members, foster collaboration among members, physicians from other specialties, and researchers, and cooperate with relevant medical associations.
Our Goals
- Provide opportunities for professionals in the association’s field of interest to contribute to scientific and professional advancement.
- Support the development of healthcare practitioners' skills, enhance professional scientific thinking, and improve the performance of association members in their specialized field.
- Facilitate the exchange of scientific research, ideas, and professional expertise while offering scientific consultations and conducting studies to improve performance levels in the association’s areas of interest.
Our Activities
- Developing and updating clinical guidelines to establish continuously evolving professional practice standards in the association’s field.
- Organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops and contributing to training programs and continuing medical education.
- Participating in local and international conferences and exhibitions.
- Inviting relevant scientists and physicians at the national and international levels to engage in the association’s activities.
- Conducting and encouraging scientific research in the association’s fields of interest and publishing research findings.
- Publishing a journal or periodic newsletter (or both) to disseminate studies and research related to the association’s areas of interest.
- Implementing awareness activities such as educational brochures, messages, campaigns, and other health awareness initiatives to enhance public knowledge in the association’s specialty.
Our Services
- Providing technical consultations to various healthcare entities regarding practices, activities, and healthcare procedures, as well as evaluating healthcare facilities for accreditation purposes.
- Participating in the evaluation of professional qualifications and the performance of practitioners in the association’s field in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Actively supporting the departments of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and serving healthcare practitioners.
